Agent Banking Services for Deposit Money Banks

However, our UASC Centres across Nigeria are provided with the relevant ICT and security equipment for the provision of efficient and uninterrupted core banking operations services (involving the handling cash and transfers) to the delight of our customers.

Debit cards are used via POS, ATM, mobile and internet to carry out banking and financial transactions. With debit cards, transactions are done faster, conveniently at cheaper or no fees and charges in a transparent and accountable way. At our UASC Centres, Agrisccos Ltd issue these debit cards to customers of our partner bank.

At our UASC Centres, our core banking operations services which mostly involve the handling of cash or transfers are done by dedicated staff who have been trained to ensure that these services run smoothly, seamlessly and uninterrupted.

There are several cases where payment transactions have been delayed or hampered due to poor network from the telecomms services providers. Hence, when such glitch arises in the use of the e-channels especially ATM, POS, USSD, mobile and internet banking services, the only alternative is payment across the counter. At our UASC Centres, we have put in place measures to ensure smooth and reliable service delivery across the counter.

At all the UASC Centres across Nigeria, there are agro-supermarkets where agro-commodities (agro-inputs, harvested produce and processed products) are sold. At each agro-supermarket, sales are made primarily via the POS. This is to ensure proper inventory management, sales records and reporting, employee management, ease of payment and accountability for efficient service delivery.

There is at least one automated teller machine (ATM) installed at every UASC Centre for customers of our partner Banks to perform financial transactions, such as cash withdrawals, deposits, funds transfers, balance inquiries or account information inquiries, at any time. At UASC Centres, ATMs are highly secured and dedicated staff monitor and ensure that these ATMs are always up and running.
